Dragster
This is my second dragster. This picture was taken in the spring of 1976, right after it was converted from a C/Dragster to the new NHRA Econo Dragster Class. This car was classified as a C/ED (Econo Dragster). It had a 355 cuin small block Chevy with a Holley 750 cfm Carb and Steel 2.02 class legal heads....and those Jerry STAHL headers. This was an 8.60 et car, 3 tenths under the NHRA 8.90 index in 1977. After this picture was taken, the chassis was front halved and the spoked front wheels were reinstalled..
