This is a 2010 S & W Race Cars 225"  Nostalgia Dragster It was built and set up to run in NHRA Comp Eliminator in both A/ND and B/ND. The chassis is certified to run 6.39 and slower.

The chassis is a special "fat man car" built to fit my large size. The cage is 23" wide, with extra length added behind the rear axle housing. The front steering uses the old style boomerang style controller for the tie rods from the drag-link. I also had a NHRA approved tow hook set-up installed on the nose. I also had Scott at SW build the interior with a little extra room in the body opening and raised the steering box so it is eaiser for me to get in and out of the car ( I am 6" 1" and weigh 280 lbs ).

The nose contains the weight bar mounts and the Oddesy battery. The rear housing is a 9" Ford type center section with the low friction, higher center pinion 12 Bolt ring and pinion setup. Strange aluminum center section, 35 spline lightweight rifle drilled axles and dual capilers per side. I run both a foot brake and hand brake (I use the hand brake for staging). Moroso Dry sump system, MSD front drive distributor, ATI Powerglide using an ATI complete case and bellhousing.

Currently I have the car set up for a Big-Block. I also bought the small block engine mounts for the 410 B/ND engine set up. 4 gallon fuel tank, custom fuel line with return bungs installed.

I sold my Super Comp Dragster less engine and will be using the Big Block to get my license upgrade from a 4A to a 3A. This engine ran 7.58 in a 1900 lb 4-link RED. So, with a big reduction in weight, addition of the 3" Hilborn Injectors it should get me in the low 7's. This will allow me to run Top Dragster for the first few races of the season.

The chassis is being powder coated and the body panels are at the paint shop for color.

I hope to be ready by mid to late May .......I can't weight.
